Looking Good
LOOKING GOOD

Do you ever worry about what other people think of you? Well, maybe you do and won’t admit it, and maybe you don’t. I do and sometimes I admit it, and at other times I don’t. I use my journal to help me go through the worry and let it go. It’s a normal worry, but I know that it’s one of the ones that I find more of a distraction than most in my internal life. So, using my journal to remind me about what is important, who I am, how I see myself and how God sees me makes a big difference in my outlook and attitude. It isn’t easy for me to stop and remind myself to worry more about what God thinks of me then what others may think of me, but it’s a lesson worth learning. Sometimes I just go through the process in prayer, rather than writing it down on paper, but sometimes I also need to write it down, to make it really stick or to become more aware of it. So, if you find yourself troubled by a certain habit or practice, why not trying journaling about it first and see what happens, it may just be the beginning of a positive change in your life.
