COLOR YOUR WORLD

How do you use color in your journal? Or do you? I don’t use color yet. It’s something that I want to use, but just haven’t moved to that level yet. When I work in my collage notebook, I definitely use color. I use magazine images that I’ve collected, plus stickers, fabric swatches, and sometimes colored pencils. I don’t even use images yet in my online blogging. I know that people like to see images, I just haven’t developed the habit of adding images in yet. I hope to do it soon, because I’m sure that it will add a new element to my blog posts, but not yet.

Some people like to use specific pens for their writing. Other’s like to use highlighters. In high school, colored ruled notebook paper, was a fad, so I bought some of that to use for my journal entries. That was fun. The colors were bright, so that either blue or black ink showed up well, when I wrote on the pieces. One of my journal dreams is to develop more collages or visual imagery along with my written entries. I’ve been wanting to do this for quite awhile, but usually, I only add doodles. Well, there’s always tomorrow!
