COLLAGE ARTISTS

If you are a collage artist or just like to create collages, then you can use a journal to help you. You can write lists of supplies, lists of ideas or you can draw and save images for use later on in future collages. If you want to practice or just play with making a collage, just for fun, you can create them on the smaller pages of your collage for your personal work or pleasure or expression. My collage journal is primarily for my own use. Sometimes I show it to people, so that they can see what I like to use or do when I make my collages, but I don’t display them, per se. I hope to do so someday, but am not in a hurry to create one for display at this time. I find making collages just fun and sometimes very peaceful, it depends on my mood or whatever is going on when I am creating a page.

I know other artists create collages for themselves and for display as well, so I am not alone in my interest. It’ s your choice. Creating collages also is a great way to experiment with ideas. Sometimes a collage idea will birth another idea for some other creative project. You never know where your creative work will lead you, that’s being able to express your creativity in many ways is so important.
